Sunday and holidays, including:  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day/Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day

There is NO charge for our initial care assessment by our nurse.  We want to encourage enrollment and only ask that you give us at least a couple of weeks to let the member “settle in.”

The Rose Cottage charges a low hourly fee of $13.50/hour.  This fee is significantly lower than the hourly market rate for home care.  Our hope is to provide respite for those families that want their loved one to interact with other seniors as well as families that cannot afford our home care service.  We can develop an overall care plan including day care, home care, and family care,  so the member does not need to be institutionalized.  Our goal is to keep them safely in their own home!

Our fee covers all activities and wellness programs.  We do charge separately for any special tasks such as bathing, beauty salon, nail care, extra meals, etc.   Meals are $11 and include:

  • Morning snack
  • Appetizing, hot, nutritional lunch from one of our nutritionist approved trending restaurants or good old comfort food
  • Afternoon snack

Health and Wellness Programs are included at no extra charge.  We want to help all members to socialize and get out, especially those who are incontinent or those that use a walker or cane.  Unfortunately, we are not able to accept those individuals who are wheelchair bound.  All programs are designed to include members needing additional staff assistance with meals, toileting/incontinent care, and safety monitoring or concerns due to disease related behaviors, such as anxiety, wandering, rummaging.  Assistance is provided as indicated by our care assessment.

  • Private pay
  • Long Term Care Insurance
  • Financial aid may be available for those families who qualify through local Agency on Aging or the Veteran’s Administration.
